A great debut for Carlos Romero

The Valencian defender has made his debut with the first team in the heroic win against UD Almeria

Carlos Romero made his debut with a victory. The young Valencian defender started and played 62 minutes in the Submarine’s 2-1 win over UD Almería.

In the absence of Alfonso Pedraza and the lack of match fitness for Alberto Moreno, the Villarreal B left-back made the most of the opportunity given to him by Pacheta and was even involved in the play for the first goal, moving forward in attack and passing back to Baena, who, with a light touch, set up Gerard to put the equaliser on the scoreboard.

Carlos Romero won four of the five duels he played in and had a notable passing accuracy of 81%.
