Villarreal B keep picking up points with a draw against Alcoyano at the El Collao ground

The Villarreal B team managed to pick up a valuable point on their visit to Alcoyano (0-0) in a match with few opportunities in which the Yellows played their hearts out for almost half an hour with ten men, after the sending off of Anton Shvets. In what was an even encounter, Paco López’s side picked up a draw to keep their fourth place hopes alive, which would qualify them for the promotion playoffs. The Yellows Reserves are currently in fifth, tied on points with Badalona, with two matches to go. The next match for the Villarreal B team is against Atlético Baleares on Sunday 7th May at 11:30pm CET.
