Villarreal B drew against Atlético Baleares in a tight tie without many chances
Villarreal B got a good point in their visit to the Estadio Balear (0-0). The Yellows drew against Atlético Baleares and once more kept a clean sheet in a tight game which did not have many goalscoring opportunities. After the share of the point, the Mini Submarine stay at the top of their Primera RFEF Footters with an impressive record of two wins and a draw in their first three league games of the season.
The Yellows took to the pitch in Mallorca keen on getting a win against one of the best sides in the division. However, Atlético Baleares did not make things easy for Miguel Álvarez’s side, who, despite having long spells of possession, were unable to find the formula to trouble the opposition goal.
Villarreal B’s opponent also had scarce chances in front of goal. They looked to quick transitions to surprise the Mini Submarine, but only a few of them needed Iker Álvarez to make a save. It ended in a goalless draw, with the share of the points being the fairest result.
Next up for the Mini Estadi is Albacete Balompié at the Mini Estadi on Saturday at 9pm CEST.
