Unai Emery’s side defeated Villarreal B with a Paco Alcácer hat-trick and goals from Capoue and Raba
Villarreal CF’s first team have faced the B team in a friendly match at the Mini Estadi, which ended in a 5-2 win to Unai Emery’s men. Their goals came from Paco Alcácer (who scored a hat-trick), Étienne Capoue and Dani Raba. For Miguel Álvarez’s side, Juan Carlos Arana scored twice.
Villarreal made the most of the international break to complete a tough training session against Villarreal B, who are not in action this weekend either, after having finished the first stage of the Segunda División B season. All footballers who were available for both teams played in the friendly match. Alberto Moreno played all of the game, after returning from injury.
