

Villarreal has recognised the careers of 17 players who have been wearing the yellow shirt for ten years this season
A well-deserved recognition of effort and passion for the colours. Villarreal CF has recognised 17 players for completing a decade wearing the yellow shirt. The tribute was led by the club’s president Fernando Roig, who personally presented the traditional ceramic submarine to each of the award winners.
The event, held at the Estadio de la Cerámica, was also attended by CEO, Fernando Roig Negueroles; director of football, Miguel Ángel Tena; academy football director, Pablo Cañada; and Villarreal Women coordinators, Patri Traver and Laura Cuesta.
Among the award winners, the presence of first team player Moi Gómez stood out. In addition, 16 other players from the club also received this distinguished tribute: Aixa Salvador (Villarreal Women), Jorge Carlos Galdón (Villarreal C), Toni Gabarri (on loan to CD Roda), Thais Martínez (Women B), Anna Adell (Women C), Myriam Campos (Women C), Claudia Baila (Women C), Ana Pallarés (Women C), Laura Bort (Women C), Nerea Sánchez (Women D), Javier Guerrero (Roda Juvenil), Izan Morillo (Roda Juvenil), Pablo Romero (Juvenil C), Antonio Breva (Juvenil C), Salvador García (Juvenil C) and Alejandro Gil (Cadete B).
