Villarreal’s Antonio Rukavina and Carlos Bacca were starts for their respective national teams yesterday in their friendly matches. The Serbian defender started the match and played the full 90 minute in his country’s win over China 0-2 (goals by Ljajic and Mitrovic).
For his part, the Colombian striker came on in the 64th minute of the match against South Korea replacing teammate D. Zapata. Colombia fell 2-1 to South Korea with two goals by Son Heung-Min for South Korea and one for Colombia, scored by Cristian Zapata.
