Chukwueze and Morlanes, representing their countries

Chukwueze started against Ukraine while Morlanes came off the bench for Spain U21s against Montenegro 

Two footballers from the Villarreal CF first team played for their countries yesterday. Samu Chukwueze started and played 82 minutes for Nigeria in their draw with Ukraine (2-2), while Manu Morlanes also took part in Spain U21's 2-0 win over Montenegro, coming off the bench in the 75th minute. It was Morlanes' debut with 'La Rojita'.

Chukwueze's match was a friendly and took place at the Dnipro Arena in Ukraine. The Nigerian side went ahead thanks to goals from Joe Aribo (m.4) and Victor Osimhen from the penalty spot (m.34). Ukraine reacted in the second half, and drew level thanks to strikers from Oleksandr Zinchenko (m.78) and Roman Yaremchuk (m.79).

Morlanes came off the bench in the 75th minute in Spain U21's victory over Montenegro (2-0), making his debut for La Rojita. The match took part at Castalia and was a qualifier for the European U21 Championships. The two goals for Spain came from Dani Olmo in the third and ninth minutes.
